1P_Timothy I was still experiencing the problem and have since upgraded my phone to a Google Pixel 7 Pro. I have the same settings and can say it will still ask me for biometric authentication somewhere around 2-3 hours (can't pinpoint it exactly yet). But definitely not waiting the full 8 hours. Is there anything else I can do to help you pinpoint the issue/cause?
