1pwd created >2000 copies of a login
I created a new login on 1pwd for my Mac; when I tried to login from my mobile, 1pwd couldn't find the login and I noticed that it had been saved in my Personal vault; I have set a preferred fault under "Save new items in" and therefore was surprised that the new login had been created in my Personal vault which isn't my preferred vault.
I moved the login item to my preferred vault and then realised that the password field was empty. I know I had generated a password in 1pwd and saved it with the item. So I went through the forgot password flow with that website and saved the new password in 1pwd.
This morning, I went back to the same website on my Mac but I failed to login even though I was filling the credentials with 1pwd; I checked in 1pwd and found 2123 copies of the login for that site.
BTW, before I used 1pwd this morning, I clicked on the upgrade button that showed on the splash screen.

I am going to close this with an on going discussion via email between us. For anyone following along at home the investigation is on going.

Either works. We'll get it. I prefer the
+forum
as it's assured you'll get a reply with the support id quicker. At least to me it seems quicker. :) - m_wFrequent Contributor
can you confirm the right address to send it to, please? the tool created an email to mailto:support@agilebits.com but I've seen in other forum posts that people were asked to send reports to mailto:support+forum@1password.com

I can't say that it wouldn't help without seeing it. I can take a look at it if you send it over. Please post your support id here on BitBots reply to that submission.
Please email us using
support+forum@1password.com
. Be sure to use the email address tied to the account in question. - m_wFrequent Contributor
thanks 1P_Tommy - deleting them is the easy part; obviously, the more tricky bit is to find out how this could have happened and I appreciate this might be very difficult or even impossible; if it helps, I have created a Diagnostic Report using your Troubleshooting Tool yesterday.

Morning m_w
If these are all true duplicates then removing them is best. I can't say I have ever heard of something like this. Not in that amount at any rate, duplicates themselves sure that has happened. To clean them up, assuming they are 100% duplicates.
- Search for the login. This helps ensure you don't inadvertently get any others you have selected.
- Select one of the items in the center column. It will highlight.
- Press the shift key and keep it pressed.
- Scroll to the bottom of the list and click on the 2nd to last login. All of the logins will be highlighted. Right-click and select Archive. * Optional use delete.
- You may prefer to do this in small groups rather all in one go.
Be very careful to only select the items you wish to archive or remove.
- You'll want to make sure 1 login is not removed, so it remains for your use.
