Accessing Master Password

It is available, but the way to reach it differs a bit. When you have 1Password 8 open, click on the account name, and from the menu choose Set Up Another Device... This will give you this information

You're right, this is not currently available in 1Password 8. To view your account details, you can search in your vault for a 1Password Account item that will include both your Secret Key and Account Password.
