Address Field(s) ?
The Address fields available in the Idenfication section of 1Password are as follows:
[street]
[city/town/suburb]
[state/province]
[zip/postal code]
[country]
There is no line to enter any 2nd row of address information, nor is there any mechanism that allows you to add any additional street row(s).
I looked this up and there have been inquiries related to this dating back as far as 2016; however, all advice thus far was to enter data into the first row using a comma to separate, and so far no additional fields have been added to accommodate the request. This is frustrating as this seems like it would be such an easy win, as its a fairly minor ask and their current suggested fix is not sufficient to store all address data, nor does it accurately populate websites with multiple address fields.
Is there some reason that is going over my head at the moment as to why we're not able to have (or add additional) address lines into our identification/address line items?

1P_Daveit's a decent solution for the first line but it looks really odd separating the building name, street address and town with a dash rather than a comma. I personally think the dev team should either:
- add the required fields to the address input and concatenate as necessary.
- choose a different delimiter
- allow escaping the comma. delimiter with a backslash.

Thank you!
Next time it happens I’ll capture it so I can send it to you.

Thank you for the feedback, I've filed a feature request on your behalf to add an additional address line to Identity items in 1Password.
For the time being, you can add that additional information using the comma method. You mentioned that it doesn't work consistently for you. Are you able to provide some examples where it doesn't work or post steps that I can follow to reproduce the issue that you're running into?

Hi Dave,
Thanks for getting back to me.
It seems strange to me that we are limited in our personal profile fields when having at least 2x street address data entry fields is almost standard everywhere. Why do I have to reformat my address using this comma workaround, which works inconsistently for me at best, when could save and store my address in the official / correct format recognized by the USPS?
My suggestion / request ion to include the ability to add additional address lines is to accommodate information id like to capture here, such has building, court,or gate number; or to indicate the dares I resided at an address, so I can transition this over here.
Maybe this seems like such a minor ask that it isn’t worth the dev effort, but as an IT PM myself, it is frustrating to see how long customers have been asking for a simple, logical fix and cut keeps getting shut down.
Is there a reason why this isn’t practical or as simple as I’m thinking to implement? What am I missing here? Thanks!

Hello caitlinmbaker1! 👋
Thank you for the feedback. Can you tell me a little more about the kinds of information that you're looking to include in another address field? I would be interested in knowing what limitations of the comma method you're running into so that I can pass this along to the team. For example, if I create an Identity item with the following information I find that 1Password fills it properly into pages:
Filled into a test website:
I look forward to hearing from you.

1P_DaveI have a related issue, in that I have a virtual business address using the following pattern:
My Business, Postbox Number, Service Provider
Building Name, Street, Town
State
Postcode
CountryWhen I try and use autofill, my company name is placed on the first line and the Postbox Number on the second line. Everything else is omitted. How can I get it to autofill each line in it's entirety?

Thanks for reaching out. Does the website that you're filling your information into have three different lines for the address? If it only has two then try removing the comma from between the Postbox Number and the Service Provider and separate them with a dash instead so that they fill on the same line.
Would that fit your needs? If it doesn't then let me know and I can pass along your feedback to the team.
