Apple Watch unlock is not working in the beta/nightly version of 1Password for Mac

1Password for Mac 8.10.36 (81036031)
macOS 14.6 Developer Beta build 23G5052d
MacStudio M1 Ultra 128GB RAM 4TB SSD

In settings, unlocking with Apple Watch is checked but ignored. I have to enter the passphrase each time. Other applications (e.g., Quicken) do unlock with the Apple Watch.
