5 years agoAuthorized Devices sees 2 different MAC OS versions
Hello,
I'm pruning my list of authorised devices and noticed that is detecting different version of my MacOS.
I'm running BigSur 11.4 but it sees both 11.4.0 and 10.15.7 in my authorised devices ...

5 years agoHello @neilobrien! 👋
Thanks for writing in. You're seeing the macOS version being reported as 10.15.7 because Chrome's developers have made the decision to cap the version of macOS that is reported in the Chrome browser's user agent string. If you check the user agent of your browser you'll see the macOS version of your Mac being reported like this:
Mac OS X 10_15_7
Since your browser is reporting that you're running macOS 10.15.7 that's what 1Password.com lists when you check your Authorized Devices since we're relying on the browser for your macOS version. Our developers are aware of the issue and are looking to see if we can improve this in the future.
I hope that helps. :)
