Autofill not working

In 1Password 8 when entering a site, the autofill user and password is not working. 1Password Version: 8.7.3 Extension Version: 2.3.6 OS Version: macOS Monterey 12.4 Browser:_ Safari

How was this solved? I've emailed 1P support a few days ago about autofill not working in 1P8 for credit cards and personal info items (name, address, postal code, etc.) like it did in 1P7, but am still waiting for help.
