Our security team wrote about this topic recently, you can find the post https://1password.community/discussion/comment/584714#Comment_584714 :+1: The summary is that this is indeed why 1Password does not autofill for security reasons, and instead always requires some user interaction before it fills data on a webpage (either with the keyboard shortcut in the classic extension, or by selecting a login item in the new 1Password in the browser extension).
