Back button behavior after viewing Related Item
As I'm sure the folks at AgileBits know all too well, there's seemingly no end to the Internet harping on all the changes that were made when version 8 was released. In fact, it was just such harping that kept me away (from 1P) until just now. And while I haven't tried out passkeys yet (and the Safari extension on Mac is sometimes flaky), I have to say that overall I am quite impressed with what I'm seeing in both the Mac and iPhone apps (haven't done much on iPad so far). The productivity, appearance, and sheer usefulness are all quite nice!
So in that vein, please consider making the Back button behavior on iPhone match what it does on Mac. And add a "forward" button while you're at it ;-)
On Mac, after viewing a Related Item and clicking the Back button (left arrow), you're returned to the referring item. This is nice, and as expected (like how Back works on a web browser). Even better, there's a Forward button (right arrow). So you can click back and forward repeatedly to cycle between the referring and referred items. This is super handy when on a call with the referring item's customer service group.
On iPhone, however, the Back button (less than sign), it takes you all the way back to the main screen of the section you're working from (Home, Items, or Watchtower). So to review either the referring or referred item, you have to re-find the referring item and start all over again. And, of course, there's no Forward button in the iPhone app. So the super nifty thing we have in the Mac app is but a distant, teary dream on iPhone (sniffle... :-(
