Nice one Team! Thanks for your hard work Please please please make changes to the following two points: Change the searching to filter the list rather than show a dropdown of results. I know you have the keyboard shortcut to add that but filtering the list live in real time is sooooo much simpler. Allow us to reorder fields in an item. I feel like V8 will be pretty much feature mostly complete after those two issues have been dealt with.

Password strength is no longer shown on PIN codes. For those PINs with websites mentioned, the strength of the password is still displayed. Its working as it should or is it a bug??

+1 for rctneil ‘s suggestion to replace the search dropdown by directly filtering the list. The current implementation is apart from missing substring search a showstopper for me..

Thanks for this new beta version! But... Categories in the sidebar are still in English language, although I set 1Password to German language. Creating a new entry category names are in German language. 😉

I turned on update to nightly builds since the beta started and today after I let it restarted for the update, the main window no longer displayed. I then re-download the beta installer from the website to reinstall (which fixed issues like this in the past), now it refused to launch because my vault is "too new"? ("You’ve used a newer version of 1Password on this device. Update to the latest version to keep using 1Password.") Since there's no way to download the nightly nor can I downgrade, I'm now lock out of 1P. :( And seems this has happened before but not fixed: https://1password.community/discussion/122711/early-access-is-stuck-on-the-nightly-channel

But basically, you have a website set in the item and thus it is not treated as a PIN but a Password

There are still other issues with the integration of the localizations… Just the unlock warning has partially to non localized strings and UI crops.

So the release notes for April 26 (1Password for Mac 8.7.0-95) mention "The names of item categories in the sidebar are now localized.”.
I checked back in 8.8.0 80800007 that was recently released and that doesn’t seem to the be the case in French at least…

yes, date formats in New Zealand are day/month/year. Currently only in 1Password I am getting month/day/year

Thanks for this new beta build!

On macOS the primary change is localized item category names.
Check! German Windows app looks good now, as you are showing on your screenshot. 😘

Linux and Windows also have an improvement that should make the 1Password unlock screen appear more reliably when activated from the 1Password browser extension.
Check! Works great now. Clicking the locked icon in my browser opens 1Password Windows app, so I can unlock 1Password. 👍
