Blur of the password field breaks accesability

I have an application which has multi-stage sign-in screen. User enters phone than OTP than password.
1password remembers username (phone) and autofills password at the last step and then blurs password field. Which cause to blur the whole form which led to user can't press "enter" to continue.
That's fixable by adding onblur handler which prevents blur or if there is no relatedTarget or focuses to submit button instead.

Is that an expected behaviour or a bug?
