is it necessary to have the browser extension for 1password to work? My Admin has blocked the extension for my work computer and won't allow it to be installed.

Hey dwestenk are you using a work device or is this a personal one? If it's a work device, and your IT team has blocked the app + the extension, then the best path forward is to reach out to your IT team to see if they can allow for the app + extension to be used. If this isn't your situation though, please let us know. We'll always be happy to help.
I have the same issue. The extension loading is blocked. Also, I cannot install the desktop app either. Any suggestions??

The ability to easily fill your information in your browser is reliant on the 1Password extension being installed in the browser. If you're able to install the desktop app, you can copy and paste or drag and drop usernames and passwords as needed.
