[Bug] Indented text in note hides rest of text
STEPS:
- Click New Item > Login
- Under the "notes" section type four or more space characters and the letter 'a' (" a") on the first line, a return character, then "b" on the second line
- Click "Save" button
ACTUAL: only the first line " a" is shown in the notes section
EXPECT: it should show the whole note including the " a" and the "b" on the second line.
NOTES: there are other ways to repro this bug but this is the quickest way to demonstrate it. Basically have a line with 4 or more space characters followed by some text. Then everything on the following lines will be hidden in the preview when you click Save. Interesting bug!

I am seeing something similar with 1P for MacOS.
I want to indent a line in the notes field. The only way I know to do this is to add leading spaces at the beginning of the line. (Tapping the tab key doesn't work.)
If you do this and then hit Save, the edit screen closes and the line displays without indentation. If you hit Edit again, you see the line indented.
All I want to do is indent some lines. How do I do it?

Hello Johncord! 👋
I'm sorry that 1Password for Android isn't rendering your note correctly. My colleagues and I haven't been able to reproduce the issue here on our end yet. So that I can better understand the situation, can you tell me the following:
- Which version of the 1Password for Android app are you using: Find the version numbers for 1Password and your operating system
- Would you mind posting a screenshot of what you see in both view and edit mode for the affected item? Make sure that nothing sensitive is visible in the screenshot.
- If you temporarily turn off markdown then does the issue still persist? Your can turn off markdown by following these steps: Open and unlock 1Password > Tap the icon for your account or collection at the top right and choose Settings > Tap General, then turn off Format secure notes using Markdown.
I look forward to hearing from you.-Dave

Oops meant to say this was on the Windows client app. Somehow I selected Android by accident.

Dave,
I have Markdown turned on. (Didn't know about that -- very helpful).
In a note field within a login item, 3 spaces at the beginning of the line indents when editing, but displays no indentation after you hit save. 4 or more spaces makes all the text after that paragraph disappear (if you have several lines with 4 spaces, everything after the last of those lines will disappear).
As I mentioned above, I'm just looking for a way to indent a line (Now that I know about markdown, I'm now using > to treat the line as a quote, which is better, but it's not exactly an indentation, because you get the vertical bar).
Thanks very much, as always.
