Cannot Copy text from UI and Quick Search discrepancies, other

Been using 1P since v3. I've just switched from 6 to 7, signed up for cloud account and I'm frustrated/confused with some basic things. The Quick Search I'm referring to is not the in-browser vers...

Great questions!

I wasn't able to replicate being unable to copy from an item not in edit mode.

Do you have the new vault excluded in All Vaults? 1Password mini (what you're calling Quick Search) has a vault selector, and you can access it here:

It sounds like you may have that new 1Password account vault not included in All Vaults, and that's why you're not seeing it. You can edit which vaults are included in All Vaults from Preferences > Vaults > Show in All Vaults.

I was able to replicate the issue you mentioned about the dropdown not updating, so I've filed an issue to see if we can improve the state of play in the future.
