That definitely isn't the experience we want you and your wife to have. I'd like to ask your wife to create a diagnostics report from her iOS device:

Sending Diagnostics Reports (iOS)

Attach the diagnostics to an email message addressed to support+forum@1password.com, and send it from the email address associated with her 1Password account.

With her email please include:
