Chrome and Firefox extensions not filling

I updated today to 1Password 8. I want to return to version 7. My browsers chrome and firefox extensions are not working. When I click on the desired login a box comes up with information it does not immediately go to the desired webpage. I have to click on the webpage in the box then copy and paste the entire login. If I can't go back to the way it was previously working, I'll take my business somewhere else.
