3 years agoChrome Auto-Fill
It appears since 1P 8 (I don't recall any issues before that) every other update kills the Chrome Autofill for all those textboxes (like search on websites, etc.).
I just don't understand which settings need to be touched such that 1P takes care about all the logins, but Chrome leads on Adresses & Textboxes.

Hello, this looks like good solution. But another problem remains (overlay).
Also with the passwords.

Counterintuitive, but does exactly what I need!

Hey @jolbrich,
Here are the steps to enable Chrome's autofill alongside 1Password:
- Right-click 1Password's icon in Chrome's toolbar and click Settings.
- Under "General" turn off the "make 1Password the default password manager" option.
- Paste the following into Chrome's address bar: chrome://settings/autofill
- Click Addresses and more (or Payment methods) and allow Chrome to autofill.
I hope this helps!

+1 for this. It seems that having 1Password extension installed on chrome completely kills any autofill functionality that is default to chrome. There is no way to selectively enable/disable this one feature. You have to completely remove the extension from your browser.
Disabling autofill does not fix this 😫
