Based on what you shared, it sounds like the 1Password extension in Chrome is having troubling connecting to the 1Password desktop app since it's asking you to enter your account password into the 1Password extension. Unless you use the 1Password extension with https://support.1password.com/connect-1password-browser-app/ turned off.
