Chrome extension not offering touch ID
I see from past threads this has been an issue before. I'm using Chrome on an Apple and have the latest Mac beta version of 1Password (8.10.82) on my computer and added to my Chrome browser. Even tho...

6 months agoI'm sorry that you're running into issues with 1Password on your Mac. It sounds like the communication between the desktop app and the 1Password in the browser isn't working. Try the following:
- Open and unlock the 1Password for Mac desktop app.
- Click your account or collection at the top of the sidebar and click Settings.
- Click Browser.
- Turn "Connect with 1Password in the browser" off and then back on.
Then in the browser:
- Open your browser.
- Right-click on the 1Password icon in your browser's toolbar and click Settings.
- Turn "Integrate this extension with the 1Password desktop app" off and then back on.
Then, restart your Mac. If that still doesn't work then do you see a yellow dot in the 1Password browser settings page? And, if you click on About in the browser settings page what version of 1Password in the browser do you see listed?

Thanks, Dave. I've tried but this solution isn't working. I get an error message that it cannot connect my browser extension. I've removed and reinstalled the extension. I am talking about Chrome and not Safari. I've tried the troubleshooting steps listed here but these steps don't work either: https://support.1password.com/cs/cannot-connect-browser/
