Complex search logic
I don't think this is possible, as I'm seeing a number of requests adjacent to this, so please consider this a feature request
I'd like to use more complex search logic than e.g., =tag:MyTag
For example I'd like to search for things that have MyTag and don't have MyNewTag
e.g., a search query like: =tag:MyTag, -tag:MyNewTag
My particular use case is I'm going through all my accounts that use a Yubikey, and logging into those to replace my yubikey with a new one.
Those accounts are all tagged 2fa-yubikey. Once I've updated them, I'm adding the additional tag: 2fa-yubikey-replaced, so I know which ones remain to be updated.
Thanks!
Zach

Have you considered adding something like an 2FA-YubiKey-AUDIT
That's a great idea. Thanks!

don't fold your breath, I've been https://1password.community/discussion/131955/how-does-searching-work-i-search-on-an-ip-address-like-10-8-0-10-and-get-crazy-results#latest for 1Password to get searching to work properly.

Hello zcutlip! π
Thank you for the feedback! I can certainly see how more advanced search filters, especially the ability to exclude a certain search filter from the search, would be useful and I've filed a feature request on your behalf.
Those accounts are all tagged 2fa-yubikey. Once I've updated them, I'm adding the additional tag: 2fa-yubikey-replaced, so I know which ones remain to be updated.
Have you considered adding something like an
2FA-YubiKey-AUDITtag to all items currently tagged2fa-yubikeyand then removing2FA-YubiKey-AUDITas you update your items so that you can keep track of what items still need to be updated? This might be an easier workflow with today's current search filters.-Dave
