Create new password from Safari

I'm using 1Password 80500017 with Safari on a MacBook Pro and I just wanted to register a new account on a website. How do I let 1Password create a new random password for me? If I use the "Save in 1...

I didn't realise there was a difference in behaviour but that makes sense, thanks. The issue I had was during checkout on the same site:

  1. add an item to your shopping basket
  2. open the shopping basket
  3. click on "Doorgaan met afrekenen" (checkout)
  4. check the box "Een account aanmaken?" which indicates you want to create a new account
  5. 1Password will only offer to save, not suggest a password
