One of the main reasons I went with 1Password over other alternatives was because it seemed like the developers understood what it meant to make an app on macOS. I use the app https://paw.cloud over http://insomnia.rest because it looks and feels like a native application.
Now that newer versions of iOS and macOS offer better password management and one-time password generation I think this redesign is in the exact opposite direction you want to moving.
