Does Universal Autofill reduce/eliminate the need for browser plug-ins?

Looks like I can successfully operate with Universal Autofill without having a browser plug-in now. What would I miss out on if I removed the 1Password browser plugin from my various browsers/prof...

Does it still work with things like auto-filling fields (name, address, phone number, credit cards etc?)
