Reinstate 1P after Passwords

I have been so stupid that I started using Passwords (Apple) and even deleted 1Passwords. Didn't long to be sorry. I have reinstalled 1 Passwords, however it collides with Passwords. I haven't found a way to remove Passwords. How can I go back to 1P alone?

  • Hi Fazant thanks for reaching out!

It sounds like you might be using 1Password in your Safari browser on your Mac device, is that correct? If so, you can follow the steps in our guide to disable Safari's autofill solution: Turn off the built-in password manager in your browser

If that's not the case, can you confirm what browser you're using and include a screenshot of the conflicting autofill suggestions you're seeing?

    • Take a screenshot on your Mac
    • Please make sure that the screenshot shows your whole screen, but does not include any sensitive information, such as uncovered passwords.

Let me know how it goes or if you have any questions.
