Edge browser cannot login to 1password extension
I have two computers. Four years ago I created a 1password trial account, but didn't use it. Yesterday I was unable to use that account so I deleted it and started fresh, using the same email address...
Sorry, I tried to post that question before I was approved to post to community. But evidently the system just saved my post until the approval came thru. By that time I had solved the problem and I guess it was my fault?
So I couldn't login to the Edge extension on my desktop computer due to a prior account. Yet I had been able to login to the Chrome extension on both computers and to the Edge extension on my laptop.
The solution was (1) remove Edge extension on desktop computer, (2) install 1Password Windows app on desktop computer, (3) reinstall Edge extension on desktop. Now all work as expected.
NOTE: this problem must have arisen because I had a prior unused 1password account that had been removed. But how I got in trouble with it on only one computer and one variety of browser still makes no sense.
