Edge/Chrome browser extension breaks after updating to 8.10.8

Once I update from 1Password for Windows version 8.9.14 (or any other version leading up to latest) to 8.10.8, I lose the ability for the Edge and Chrome browser extension to sync with the desktop ap...

Hello,

I am not from the 1P team but facing the same problem.
Support told me new update will come "soon" to fix this (it seems not everybody is concerned).

Meanwhile, you can rollback to the previous stable (Production) version: 8.10.7
The 1Password installer version 8.10.7 is available https://downloads.1password.com/win/1PasswordSetup-8.10.7.exe (official link - digitally signed version).

Procedure to rollback:
1- uninstall the current version
2- install using the 8.10.7 installer provided
3- go to Settings > Advanced then Uncheck the box for the automatic updates
