Editing in new window

With version 8, I can still use quick access to open an item in a new window, but I can no longer edit an item in that new window? I often used these small windows to fill in information as I worked ...

I can see why this would be useful. Recently, a few folks requested the ability to edit items from the Quick Access window, so we do have an existing feature request for it with our development team. I have now added your comments to that discussion, as well as cast a vote for the feature on your behalf. 👍
