I have the same problem.
Our ISP's routers here in Greece fail easily.
Our ISP ships us a new one and the username and password is underneath you plug them in and they get the settings automatically.
It is hard to guess the password on them. I want a way to ignore them, so when I see there is a problem with the watchtower I know it is something serious and not my router passwords because over time I have become blind to the warnings. Also, some passwords that are for PPPoE get set by the ISP and can't be changed by the end-user.
