FIDO certification plans
I've recently encountered an issue when storing a passkey for a service that required at least L1 FIDO certification for the used security key.

Certification for passkey providers is a work in progress within FIDO and there is no timeline on when it will be available. With that said, we are actively engaged within FIDO and are keeping an eye on this area.

At this moment there is still not a certification process for software authenticators like 1Password, but we're continuing to look into the certification process with the FIDO Alliance.
While I understand it may not be ideal, I'd recommend using a hardware security key that meets the service requirements in the meantime.
