FIDO2 token
Hello
How are you?
To unlock the vault database of 1Password Manager its used just a password?
Or, its possible to unlock the vault of the database using a Yubikey(FIDO2 token/security key)?
Thanks

Thanks for the post. You can add a YubiKey security key to your account by following the steps in this guide: Use your security key as a second factor for your 1Password account
Let me know if you run into any issues.

I am in full favor of using Yubikey security using FIDO2/WebAuthn and hope it gets implemented . the current security layer on 1Password with TOTP is good but I would prefer to see Yubikey security using FIDO2/WebAuthn adoption with 1Password. reasons: trust for yubico , global adoption by major institutions of Yubikey security using FIDO2/WebAuthn.

Hello mikhailkotsarenko,
I'm well. 😊 I hope you are too.
With regard to a security key, it's not possible to unlock 1Password, but you can:
* Use your security key as a second factor for your 1Password account.Aside from the account password, you can use biometrics to unlock 1Password. I'll leave links to the relevant guides below:
* Use Windows Hello to unlock 1Password on your Windows PC
* Use Touch ID to unlock 1Password on your Mac
* Use Touch ID to unlock 1Password on your iPhone or iPad
* Use Face ID to unlock 1Password on your iPhone or iPad Pro
* Use your fingerprint, face, or iris to unlock 1Password on your Android device
* Use system authentication to unlock 1Password on your Linux computerIf you have any other questions or concerns, just let us know!
