Firefox extension blocks page completely

Once in a while upon saving a login/password combination, Firefox plugin fails to display the dialog, resulting in a semi-transparent frame that completely blocks the page.
Refreshing the page (and losing all entered info) or deleting the 1password node in Developer Tools resolves the problem. All software is of current versions.

1Password Version: 8.9.4
Extension Version: 2.3.7
OS Version: 12.6
Browser:_ Firefox
