Hello Dave it seems that my desktop 1Password seems to work fine my extension for chrome has decide not to work like before. I opened up my known extensions and there was an exclamation mark next to the extension and would not let flip it to on, also there was a 1Password old extension still there seeming to be allowed to work. So I deleted the new extension leaving the old one. In the past when I closed out the chrome browser and reopened the browser I did not have to put my password back in. In the past I had to only enter my password after a reboot.

Thank you for the screenshot. That does indeed indicate that the connection between 1Password in the browser and the 1Password desktop app isn't working correctly. Please try all of the suggestions in this article:
If that still doesn't resolve the situation then I'd like to ask you to create and share a 1Password diagnostics report from 1Password in your browser:
Send a diagnostics report (browser extension)
Attach the diagnostics to an email message addressed to support@1password.com
