Welcome to 1Password! We have a guide on how to import a CSV file from another password manager on our website which goes into more detail on the steps involved:
Can you confirm that you followed those steps? If you did then I recommend opening a support ticket with our support team so that they can see what might have gone wrong and help you import your items correctly. You can open a ticket by sending an email to support@1Password.com

Yes I did all that. I exported my files to .csv from robo, imported to 1pass .
Everything works okay, it's just that the filing, as I said, is goofy. I was required to choose names of columns of info and some columns were duplicated, some not, and some I don't know what they were. I mean I don't know what the stuff in some of the columns represented. It was neither passwords nor urls but something else apparently related to that.
I deleted roboform as my trial was up so no longer have access to it, only the .csv I exported.
So I seem to have done everything right. I don't use any backup software, this is just for my home, not a business.
And the files I originally put into roboform were from a csv exported from lastpass. Is that perhaps an issue?
Thanks.

Thanks for the reply. Do you remember if you chose the RoboForm option on the importer page or the CSV option? The RoboForm option is much more streamlined and shouldn't require you to specific names for different fields:
