HELP! Settings, categories etc oh my!
So, when I imported my passwords to 1pw from roboform, it created a whole bunch of columns and asked me to label them. Some of those columns I had no idea how to label so it seems some direction on t...

Yes I did all that. I exported my files to .csv from robo, imported to 1pass .
Everything works okay, it's just that the filing, as I said, is goofy. I was required to choose names of columns of info and some columns were duplicated, some not, and some I don't know what they were. I mean I don't know what the stuff in some of the columns represented. It was neither passwords nor urls but something else apparently related to that.
I deleted roboform as my trial was up so no longer have access to it, only the .csv I exported.
So I seem to have done everything right. I don't use any backup software, this is just for my home, not a business.
And the files I originally put into roboform were from a csv exported from lastpass. Is that perhaps an issue?
Thanks.

4 months agoThanks for the reply. Do you remember if you chose the RoboForm option on the importer page or the CSV option? The RoboForm option is much more streamlined and shouldn't require you to specific names for different fields:

No, I did not import them using RoboForm. I downloaded the RoboForm passwords into a CSV and used that.
I guess I mistakenly assumed that that would be the best way , as that is how I did it from bitwarden to roboform.
So the question is, what can I do now to fix this, since I no longer have RoboForm nor bit warden. All I have are the CSV files.
Can get back to that original page where it had all the columns, and somehow edit those columns?
Is there an easy way to fix this or not? If not, maybe I need to try a new password manager because my free trial here is over in a day or two before one password takes my payment.
Maybe I need to cancel my account, and start all over and edit those CSVs differently?
Or will 1password not allow me to get a second free trial to do it from CSVs again - because again, I do not have RoboForm anymore.

I recommend sending an email to support@1Password.com so that our support team can take a look at your account and help you directly with this. After emailing in, you'll receive a reply from BitBot, our friendly robot assistant with a Support ID that looks something like [#ABC-12345-678]. Post that here, and I'll be able to locate your message and make sure it's gotten to the right place. 🙂
