4 years agoHow can I retire an old credit card so it no longer appears in the browser extension of 1Password ?
I am using 1Password8 and the Beta-Extension for Firefox on the Mac. Whenever I need to fill in credit card details I am shown a long list of old credit cards; I only want to see the ones I currently use.
I found this https://1password.community/discussion/87513/how-can-i-retire-a-cancelled-credit-card here, but I cannot find the mentioned preference to indicate which vaults to show in "All vaults" anywhere. I have already moved all my retired cards into a separate vault.
I know I can manually select an individual vault to use instead of "All accounts" in the browser extension, but that allows me to only select one vault to use, whereas I want to exclude one vault that shouldn't be used for lookups.

Hello @patsch,
Thanks for the suggestion DenalB. Collections is a great use in this case where those old cards are stored in a different vault.
Alternatively and specific to credit card items are expired, if you're not ready to delete them just yet, you can Archive those cards so they won’t appear in search results: Archive and delete items
Let us know if we can be of further assistance. We're happy to help.

Hey @patsch !
Maybe "Collections" are what you are looking for?
