how do I delete items from the deleted folder on my desktop?

Thank you for the question. If you're using the 1Password 8 app on either a Mac, Windows, or Linux device then you can find, and purge, deleted items from the Recently Deleted folder:

1. Open and unlock the 1Password 8 desktop app.
2. In the sidebar on the left scroll down and click Recently Deleted.
3. Right-click on the item that you'd like to purge and then click Destroy permanently.
4. Follow the instructions in the prompt to destroy the deleted item.
