How do I stop the 1Pass popup when viewing my Okta page?

I use 1Password to store credentials for OKTA. Okta authenticates via Google Services and every time I go to my Okta page, a 1Password popup slides out and asks me to sign in, even though I am already signed in.

Is there a way I can get this to stop as I have to click it away EVERY time I open the page or return to the tab after a short while.

Using Google Chrome:

Thanks!

1P_Dave So, just in the few minutes of using the nightly, the issue no longer presents itself, so I would say that the changes have worked.

After installing the nightly, I closed my browser and re-opened it, signed into Okta and since then have done a few refreshes of the Okta page and no more pop-up's have been presented. I will keep this going for the next few days and will provide any feedback here.

    Thanks again!

Thank you for testing the nightly! I'll pass your report along to the team, if you do see the issue pop-up in the next few days while using the nightly then let me know.

    1P_Dave ,

Thanks for the response! I have turned off the Stable version and installed the nightly and will get back to you as soon as I have had it going for a bit.

I have no issues with testing and providing feedback!

    Thanks again!

  • Hello DCSkells! đź‘‹

I'm sorry that you're being prompted to sign in to Okta using your Google account even after you've already signed in Okta. One of our developers has been working on improving the login behind the "Sign in with" prompt and we're currently testing those improvements in the nightly version of 1Password in the browser.

Would you be willing to temporarily install the nightly version to confirm that the improvements stop the issue that you're running into: 1Password Nightly – Password Manager

Make sure to disable the currently installed stable version of 1Password in the browser so that you're not running two versions at the same time. If you still run into the issue when using the nightly, I'd like to ask you to create a diagnostics report from 1Password in your browser:

Send a diagnostics report (browser extension)

Attach the diagnostics to an email message addressed to support@1password.com

    With your email please include:

    • A link to this thread: https://www.1password.community/discussions/1password/sign-in-with--dialog-appears-on-every-page-on-gitlab-com/153362
    • Your forum username: Yottapanda

You should receive an automated reply from our BitBot assistant with a Support ID number.  Please post that number here.

After testing, you can remove the nightly and go back to using the stable version.
