How does 1password appear on chrome of a different PC

My computer at work uses chrome when I log in using my gmail account the browser has the 1password icon option on the browser toolbar. How is this possible?

1Password Version: 8.10.3
Extension Version: 2.9.0
OS Version: latest windows OS
Browser:_ Chrome

    Hi jimdrescher do you sign into the profile in Chrome on your work computer with the same account that you use in the profile on Chrome with your personal computer? If so, then your extensions would sync across your devices: https://support.google.com/chrome/answer/185277
