How to disable 1password for localhost (local web development)
This is an answer, rather than a question lol. I found a related post that had an answer that only worked for one session - after restarting, you have to "hide" 1password again for the site.

You can make the change stick by adding localhost and any dev domains to the “Never Save” and “Never Fill” lists in the browser extension settings; that stops the auto‑fill nudges even after a reboot.
