ModeratorPassword auto-fill (party of iOS) is also part of how passwords are filled using iOS. Biometric unlock would be the easiest solution. However, as you described not everyone is up for that. However, it would be my first recommendation to help you mitigate this situation you've encountered.
I'd also suggest looking at 1Password for Safari. It seems like you may be using password autofill. The links below will help you determine which method you use.
