On numerous forms, including Quickbooks, the 1password icon covers the fields I'm trying to type in which is TOTALLY not password related. This has caused accounting errors plus it's just freaking an...

2 years agoIt looks like you're describing the inline menu. Currently there is only one solution. I'll explain the steps below.
- Right-click on the page, select 1Password > (select the option) Hide on this page.
--
To disable the feature:
- Repeat the steps above and deselect Hide on this page.
-or- - Quit your browser fully.
The feature is not sticky. If you restart or fully quit the browser you'll have to repeat the hide process again.
I've filed feature requests for others who are looking to have a lasting ignore type list of sites. Would you like me to include you in that request?

A better solution would be to have options for turning off the autofill from the focus prompt when filling a form with these options
• Turn off autofill for this site for 15 mins
• Turn off autofill for this site for 1 hour
• Turn off autofill for this site permanently
• Turn on autofill for this site
As a web developer, filling forms quickly is helpful using the "Identity" autofill.
1Password offers to autofill the form using my identity cards when testing.
But I don't want autofill turned off permanently forever.
These options would help most users.
Also in the 1Password program, you should be able to have the option for every entry stored to "Never use this item for autofill websites", which all browsers plugins should respect if set here.
This makes better sense in my opinion.

Thank you for those suggestions! I've passed them along to the team internally.
