How to uninstall 1Password 8 beta

I want to upgrade to the stable version. I uninstalled 1 Password 8 beta, installed a stable build, but on startup I get an error - you are using a newer version, please update to the latest version....

Hi @spn13:

I'm sorry you're running into this issue. As we've made some database changes during beta, the easiest way would be to reinstall the 1Password 8 beta, then change release channels in Settings > Advanced to stable. The next time a stable release comes out, the 1Password app will automatically update to it, and no longer be on the beta releases.
