I had a really simple (four-number) password to get into the 1Password app on my computer. This was OK with me since I'm not too concerned about the security of my computer at home, but when I visited the 1Password website to check something out, the password required to log into the site was the same one as to log into the app, a simple four-digit number. This is not okay, so I changed it to something VERY complex (why not, I don't manually enter it anyway). Then, when I went back to the app, I discovered that that was now my new password to get into the app. This is unacceptable. I've also learned, now, that the only way to change the password for the app is to go to the website, and apparently, these two passwords must be the same!
This is aggravating, so I went back to the website to change it back to what it was, but it wouldn't let me use anything less than 10 characters! Unacceptable for home use!
So here we have a conundrum. I don't want a complex password at home, and I don't want a simple password for the website. 1Password, you need to figure this out. It's not rocket science, allow me to have two different passwords. Jeez.
