I upgraded iPad to new iPad pro m2 12.9’. 1PW is not appearing when I try to log into other apps

Having upgraded my old iPad to new iPad Pro m2 12.9” I’m finding that, when I want to log in to a website or another app, 1PW is not appearing in the fields to offer login details. I’m having to split the screen and open 1PW beside the other app and then copy details across. It works but not all apps allow split screen and anyway it is clumsy.

1Password Version: 8.9.7
Extension Version: Not Provided
OS Version: iPadOS 16.1.1 (20B101)

    Hello @Moorlander! 👋

    I'm sorry to hear that you're having trouble filling a login into apps on your new iPad. When you tap on the username or password field in an app do you see "Passwords" appear above your keyboard? If you don't then I would like you to make sure that you have turned on AutoFill to work with 1Password:

    1. On the Home screen, tap Settings.
    2. Tap Passwords > Password Options.
    3. Turn on AutoFill Passwords.
    4. Select 1Password.

    Then try to fill your login again using this guide: Use 1Password to fill and save on your iPhone and iPad
