I have used iPassword since it's inception. So you can guess,I am aging and concerned about my children getting access to my vault in case of an emergency (not necessarily death). They live far away,...

Hi @jhend1125:

Great question. A 1Password account rather than using a standalone vault synced using Dropbox may be a good solution here. Even if they don't use 1Password, if they had a copy of your Emergency Kit, they would be able to log in to your 1Password account. They wouldn't need to worry about gaining access to your Dropbox account first.
