Hello folks,
Our developers have investigated and have identified an issue in iOS that can cause 1Password to fail to scan a QR code on iPhone and iPad. We've filed feedback with Apple to report the issue so that it can be fixed in a future update to iOS. In the meantime, we're also planning to make the error message more descriptive.
For the time being, restarting your iOS device should get things working again. I recommend reporting the issue to Apple on your end as well so that they're aware.

5 months agoThank you for providing the iOS version, I've shared that with our development team.
As jeremyw013 mentioned, iOS 18.5 is now available and it's a good idea to update. If you still see the issue after updating then please let me know.

I'm sorry that you still see the issue after updating iOS. If you restart your iOS device one more time, do you still see the problem?
Are you using any other apps that use the camera? Another community member in this thread said that they ran into the issue while scanning a gift card using the Starbucks app, do you see the same issue in any other apps?

I wasn't seeing the issue in other apps, but restarting my phone again seems to have fixed it, I no longer get that message when opening the camera in 1Password.
