iOS 'Hide My Email' option prevents easy access to 1Password
Increasingly I'm seeing iOS / Chrome is now showing 'Hide My Email' for some login pages, where previously it would show 'Passwords' (allowing 1Password to be invoked easily).
The only solution I can find is to open 1Password manually, copy the username and paste it into the website manually.
I suspect its something to do with the HTML markup for the login input, as it doesn't happen on all websites yet (thankfully).
Are there any workarounds for this?
All software versions are latest available....
iOS: 18.5
1Password for iPadOS 8.10.81
Chrome iOS: 137.0.7151.51

Hello carpii! 👋
Thanks for reaching out. It looks like iOS AutoFill (the iOS technology that 1Password uses to detect and fill into fields on iOS) is wrongly classifying that field as a sign-up field rather than a login field. I recommend reporting the issue to the website developer of the website in question so that they can investigate further.
For now, you can workaround the issue by double-tapping on the field and then selecting AutoFill > Passwords. Then, tap on the field that you'd like to fill into the website.
I hope that helps.
