IOS not using Face ID on non-Safari browsers?

I've got Face ID turned on to open 1Password. I just now noticed that when using DDG, Edge, Firefox, when I get to a login page, and select to autofill the info that it opens 1Password app just fine...

    OK, of course - now today everything is fine ...

    I had been on vacation and not using 1password for any logins for a week, and then when I got back and started trying to use it yesterday, I was consistently having the reported issue where it would not use Face ID all day long resulting in me posting here.

    But once I got your reply asking for diagnostics, I cannot recreate the problem today. Face ID is magically working just fine again now.

    Sorry for the red herring. It just appears to have been a glitch on my end that has resolved itself.

Hi mtoboll​,

I understand that you're now having to unlock 1Password with your account password instead of FaceID for every fill attempt in a non-Safari browser, even though it used to work.

I'd like to have our support team look into this. Could you reproduce the issue a couple of times, and then create and share a 1Password diagnostics report from your iOS device:

Send a diagnostics report (iOS)

Attach the diagnostics to an email message addressed to: support@1password.com

With your email please include:
