Is 1P showing my password as text on login page?
There is one website and only when using Mac Firefox that shows the password as text not bullets after being auto-filled by 1Password. When I land on the page in FF the password field is set to keep the password hidden, and indeed when using Safari and auto-filled by 1Password it stays hidden (bullets). But, when using FF, the username and password is auto-filled, the password field shows the password in text. I've deleted the cache and history in FF but it still occurs. Is there any chance that 1Password is making the password un-hidden only in FF Mac?
thank you

Hello, J_schwinn. Thank you for writing in.
May I ask which website you are encountering this issue on? Does the behaviour improve if you toggle off the Autosubmit feature? Here's how:
- Open Firefox and unlock the 1Password extension.
- Right-click the 1Password icon in Firefox's toolbar and select Settings.
- In the Autofill & save section, turn off the "Sign in automatically after autofill" option.
After that, navigate to the website's sign-in page and use 1Password in the browser to autofill.
I look forward to your reply.

Perfect, that was the problem. Turn it off and passwords are private, turn it on and password in text.
I just searched on the forum ( sorry, I didn't see this before ) and the website and problem has already been reported.

I have only tested FF and Safari. With FF it is visible in plain text, in Safari it does flash the plain text but then shows bullets. I now have disabled auto-fill for both.

I appreciate the additional details. The fix should resolve the issue for all browsers. While we can't give an exact timeframe for a fix, I recommend keeping 1Password up to date so that you can receive the fix as soon as possible, and updates are posted on our website:
I hope that helps!
