3 years agoIs it possible to open quick-access from the commandline?
Ubuntu 21.10 uses the Wayland session manager (https://askubuntu.com/a/1401130/1584851) which does not allow native wayland apps to share global shortcuts. That's why in native apps in wayland, the shortcut for opening 1password quick-access is not working.
However, there is a way to do this in wayland as long the the action is also available via the commandline, by defining a custom OS shortcut and call that command.
Is it possible to open the 1password quick-access using the command line to workaround this limitation?

No shame. It's hard to find all of the places where things are documented. :D
